Dr. Andrew Johnson completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in 2002. He is a member of the New Mexico Optometry Association and the American Optometry Association. When not in the office, he enjoys golf, fishing and hanging with his active 2 year old son.
Dr. Zaborowski attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received his Doctor of Optometry in 2015. During his optometric education, he was chosen to be a student instructor 2 years in a row for the TEXOCOP program and was a Teachers Assistant for an Ophthalmic Optics lab. During his college career, beginning in the summer of 2007, he used his Summer and Christmas vacations to volunteer as a Firefighter/First Responder, which he had to give up in 2012 due to increasing educational demands. When not in the office, he enjoys woodworking, scuba diving and gardening.
Karla is a certified medical assistant and has been working with Dr. Johnson since 2014. Karla really enjoys working at the office because it is a family oriented office. She likes to help people and that is why she chose the medical field. Karla is a proud parent of two and when not in the office she likes to spend as much time as she can with her children. She also enjoys reading and baking.
Jessica attended DACC and received her certification as a certified nursing assistant. She continued her education and graduated as a certified medical assistant from Vista College in July of 2015. She was immediately hired with us after completing her internship with us. She is also certified and trained in CPR. On her days off she spends time listening to music and hanging out with friends and family.
